AI Stack for Pipeline Reporting

Salesforce pipeline data + GA4 → Claude → Google Slides summary + Slack
Matt Danese
Senior Demand Generation Manager. These stacks are built and used in production — not generated for a listicle.

Pipeline reporting consumes time that should go into building pipeline. Most demand gen managers spend three to four hours every week pulling Salesforce reports, cleaning the data, and formatting a slide that leadership reviews in five minutes. This stack compresses the build time to under 30 minutes. Pull your pipeline data from Salesforce, add web analytics context from GA4 to explain channel drivers, run the combined dataset through a Claude pipeline gap analysis prompt, and get a stakeholder-ready pipeline summary that can go into Slides or drop directly into Slack.

The Prompt

This stack is built around the Pipeline Gap Analysis Prompt. Here's the abbreviated version — the full prompt with all variables and usage notes is on its own page.

Claude Prompt — Abbreviated
You are a B2B demand generation manager preparing a weekly pipeline report for executive review.

Review the Salesforce pipeline data and GA4 channel performance data provided below.
Calculate: pipeline created vs. target, pipeline at each stage vs. target, and stage-to-stage conversion rates for the period.
Identify the primary gap driver: Is this a volume problem (insufficient MQLs), a conversion problem (leaking at a specific stage), or a mix issue (wrong ICP reaching pipeline)?
Flag any deals at risk of slipping the current quarter based on stage, close date, and last activity.
Output a structured pipeline report with a narrative summary, key metrics table, and 3 priority risk flags.

The Workflow

  1. Pull pipeline data from Salesforce

Export this week's pipeline created, open pipeline by stage, MQL volume, SAO rate, and stage-to-stage conversion rates. Include target vs. actual for each metric and last-week comparison.

  2. Pull channel driver data from GA4

Export channel-level session and conversion data from GA4 for the same period — source/medium breakdown, landing page performance, and any goal completions tied to form submissions.

  3. Run the pipeline gap analysis

Paste both data sources into the Pipeline Gap Analysis prompt. Claude calculates gap drivers, flags deals at risk of slip, and structures a pipeline narrative suitable for a VP or CMO audience.

  4. Format for distribution

Paste the Claude output into your Google Slides pipeline template or format it as a structured Slack message. Add any manual context you know that the data doesn't capture.

  5. Distribute before the leadership sync

Post the pipeline summary to your Slack reporting channel before the Monday leadership meeting so stakeholders arrive with context and the sync focuses on decisions rather than data review.
